Goodbye July, Hello August!

Hi guys! August already?! My birthday month! Ya know what that means? Books!
So I’m a little late in doing this, but it’s time for this month’s review! I’ll be going over what I’ve been reading this month, what I’ve liked and disliked, and also what I’m hoping to read in the upcoming month 🙂

What I’ve Read In July

Omega by Jus Accardo – 4 out of 5 stars (my review here)

The Perfectly Imperfect Match by Kendra C. Highley – 4 out of 5 stars (my review here)

Hooked on the Game by C. M. Owens – 5 out of 5 stars

The Witch Hunter by Virginia Boecker – 5 out of 5 stars (my review here )

The King Slayer by Virginia Boecker – 4 out of 5 stars

Frostblood by Elly Blake – 5 out of 5 stars (this was a reread for me, and I can confirm that Frostblood is just as good the second time you read it)

Fireblood by Elly Blake – 5 out of 5 stars (my review here)

The Scars Between Us by M. K. Schiller – 5 out of 5 stars (my review here)

The Shadow and Bone trilogy by Leigh Bardugo – 5 out of 5 stars

How to Save a Life by Emma Scott – 4 out of 5 stars

Watch Me Fall Apart by Lola Rooney – 3 out of 5 stars (my review here)

The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli – 5 out of 5 stars (my review here)

Hinder by Kristen Ping – 1 out of 5 stars

The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller – 4 out of 5 stars

Whew! That’s all of them! I think I’ve had a pretty good month of reading, to be honest. There was only Hinder who let the side down. I had the privilege of reading an ARC of Fireblood by Elly Blake, which I ADORED! If you haven’t started this series yet, you seriously need to get on it!

Books To Read in August

The Darkest Minds trilogy – I’ve finished the first book in this series, and I LOVED it, and am currently halfway through the second book. God, I’m totally late to the party, aren’t I?

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer – I’ve had this on my bookshelf for a good couple of months now, and I seriously need to sort my shit out and get it read.

Ruby Red – Another one I’ve had for ages now!
