Twisted Palace by Erin Watt Review

Rating – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You know those books that have endings that make you all warm and fuzzy inside? This is one of those books for me. I’ve enjoyed this series so much; I mean, these books have their faults. The characters are truly messed up, the plot isn’t fast-moving and mind blowing but they’re easy reading and immensely enjoyable once you look past the faults.

I’m not going to say too much about the plot, because, as I’ve said before, these books are definitely not plot-driven, and instead are mainly focused on the characters themselves. Twisted Palace follows Ella and Reed as they struggle to stay united in the face of Reed’s impending trial, and that’s all that you really need to know. There are sweet moments between the two of them, moments where you just want to squeeze them both tight, and moments where you don’t really know how they’re going to get out of the mess that they’re in.

Ella and Reed are both pretty consistent in this book; Easton doesn’t play as big a part as he usually does, and Callum is focused on Reed’s trial.

But there’s a new character. A character who I’m not going to name and shame, but a character who is a complete and utter bastard and who I hated from the get go. They literally made me so freaking angry whenever they had a scene.

So all in all, a worthy ending to a highly entertaining series. Whether or not I’ll continue on to reading Easton’s story, I’m not too sure as yet, but who knows…
