Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco Review

Rating – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s official: I am in LOVE with Thomas Cresswell. Like, he has been added to my book boyfriends list and he’s never coming off it.

I’m absolutely obsessed with this series now; I always knew I was going to love the story because I’ve always been obsessed with the Jack the Ripper case, but I’ve sort of put off reading it because I’m a complete scaredy cat. However, I didn’t expect to love the characters as much as I did – Audrey Rose is unapologetically fierce, Thomas is incredibly charming, and both are brilliantly intelligent.

Audrey Rose is a perfect female lead for me. She’s such a strong character, tries so hard to be taken seriously by her male peers, and while she wants more than the idle gossip most women take to, she doesn’t shun her girly side. She doesn’t put down the women in her community and scorn them for their lifestyle choices, instead wishing that they could have more fulfilling lives.

Every now and then you come across two characters who you ship with your whole heart, and Wadsworth and Cresswell are two such characters for me. They understand each other fully, and are each other’s equals. I can’t wait to see more of them.
