Finale (Caraval #3) by Stephanie Garber ARC Review

Rating – ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is one of the hardest reviews I’ve ever had to write because this book right here is downright magnificent. It’s a magical book chock full of stunning imagery, swoon-worthy romance and characters more vibrant and full of life than I am.

After reading Caraval, Scarlett was my favourite sister

After reading Legendary, Tella was my favourite sister

After reading Finale, I’ve finally given in trying to choose because it’s just impossible. While Scarlett is the softer out of the two, both sisters are fierce and loyal and loving and brave. They would do absolutely anything for those they love, including giving up themselves.

I know the whole sacrificing everything for love thing is used a lot in YA, but it’s done in a way that isn’t forced or for show; the fierceness of Scarlett and Tella’s love seeps through the pages.

Finale alternates between Scarlett and Tella’s POVs, and was perfectly done; some of the chapters were super short, some were long, but they were always the right length and came at the right time. Sometimes with multiple POVs, I forget what the other characters have been up to, but that never happened here; the POV changes were seamless, and I was never once wishing that it was a different POV (which happens to me A LOT).

And the romances…oh my GOD. Be still my racing heart.

Honestly, this is one of my all-time favourite series, and Stephanie is a total auto-buy author for me; she has created a world that never fails to enchant, and characters who I will hold in my heart for years to come.

*thank you to Hodder & Stoughton for sending me a review copy of this wonderful book*
